Validation by the cantonal notary register
Validation contents:
The validation by the cantonal notary register checks a PDF document and verifies that
- it was signed with a valid certificate
- it is in an admissible format
- the signature covers the whole document
- the signature is intact and valid
- the signature field is visible
- the signature is that of a notary registered in the cantonal register
- the signature contains a valid timestamp from a recognized time stamping service, issued after the admission of the notary
- Furthermore it checks whether the document contains a valid electronic cantonal seal.
